Hello,

I am looking at returning to Japan to teach and I am looking for any information on Lang Education Center in Hiroshima. They have a website at:

http://www.langeducationcenter.com/

I searched the forums here and did a search a couple other places and just found one of their old teachers resumes but I am hesitant to contact him. Anyhow, if anyone can provide information on this school I would appreciate it!

I am also trying to get back to Japan. I applied to this school and just this morning received a reply, asking for a phone interview. I'll let you know how things go. Obviously, the web site is slick, but naturally the staff page is the only one not working. Have you applied yet? If I don't get the gig, maybe you will. Smile

Hiroshima is a nice city. I lived in nearby Yamaguchi-ken, and was able to visit a number of times.

Yeah I went there once too, it is nice there. I did send my resume last night but no response yet; as of this morning. I see they are still advertising in Ohayo Sensei today (twice actually). Good luck on your interview!

The web page is slick for an Eikaiwa but all the smiling happy people makes me nervous and I swear the English teacher with the short hair has a vein popping out of his forehead from the strain....seriously though if no one on Dave's has stepped up by now to vent their spleen about the place it can't be all that bad. No news is good news?

Cheers All!

Thanks!

Just to let you know, I first sent my application on the 19th, so most likely they have been wading through a bunch of resumes.

Where did you teach previously? I was in Shunan (prev. Tokuyama), Yamaguchi.

I worked a few years in Osaka and I spent a couple more in Fukushima-ken.
