How much is enough?
Enough is when you stop worrying about not having enough and start worrying about having too much and paying another person to count it for you.
Don't worry yourselves as TEFL/ELT/ESL/etc teachers you will not have to face this dilemma as it is very unlikely you will ever be paid more than a pittance. There are those of us who gain a modicum of success in our field and leave teaching to others and then exploit them to our own benefit. These are the things that should worry us.

A couple of years ago, David Gilmour (guitarist, Pink Floyd) donated an estate worth 1 million - sterling/$US,can't recall - to charity.

His reasoning?

First, you start collecting Ferraris. Next, you have to start collecting houses to store your ferraris. Soon, you have to hire people to look after your ferraris and your houses. Where does it end?

I have got a visa twice with part time work. They first gave me a one year visa and then a 3 year. They didn't mind my main job being part time. I had to provide a tax certificate as all do and that was enough. I think that as long as you earn over 3million a year "I don't think" the visa is a problem.

It starts and ends at 50K a year. This is the magic number.

Ah, that's what you say now, but when you make 50k a year, will it really be "enough"? "John

Yes, it will be enough.
