I am currently teaching in London on my CELTA, but I want to further my education - so I am curious what is a better qualification a PGCE or a DELTA> I am planning on moving to France eventually to continue teaching.

I'm no expert and this is purely my opinion.
I would recommend the PGCE, it will open up all the international schools. If I could afford to take the time off work I would go back to UK and get one. (I'm doing an online MA)
If you want to simply teach efl in Europe, then get a DELTA.
If you want to work in the middle east you need an MA.
Why don't you look at jobs and look at the benefits? Take into account where you want to live and what age groups you want to teach. |
