Anything else I should read up on about Japanese ettiquette, culture. Do's and Don't in Japan. You get the idea??? Ill be a lone white woman when Im in Japan (dont know if that means I should read up on something more specific).
Thanks guys all your advice is greatly appreciated.

@ ShioriEigoKyoushi That sounds really scary I hope u were ok and it wasnt something really really serious!!!! Im getting worried and as a women I think we are (obviously) in a completely different and more vulnerable situation (in any country!! ) alot more so than men. I have stupidly read stuff about train groping and am now about to have a heart attack hahahahaha someone will be getting wrapped around a pole if they attempt that with me (Joking)!!!!
Thanks for the advice Ill take it and remember it, Im glad there will be people on hand to help incase something did happen.
Thanks again

The chikan could probably do with that, although they're likely to be too scared of you in the first place to try it.
Seriously, though, Japan is far safer, in my experience, than anywhere in the UK. Apply the same good sense that brought you this far in your home country, and you should stay safe.
Do what Shiori says. It's good advice. |
