So... one is not allowed to ask a question? Being a reader requires that one waste a great deal of time on researching a topic that is likely irrelevant beyond the borders of Saudi and does not show up with a simple google? And, it was obvious that I was not the only one who had never heard of it.
For a man of your professional abilities, which are quite well known in the Gulf, you really do yourself no credit with posts like this. That is what this board is for... to learn. I asked a perfectly polite and simple question. What is PYP? But, of course, as usual, you choose to use it for your repetitive attacks and juvenile insults.

I did not perceive your query as simple or polite. Though I did respect the intolerance of yet another acronym. Interpretations of tone are a constant challenge to text forums. I notice the veterans of the board observe "smileys" to convey tone. I've yet to see a need for it.
I think if you review the entire thread, your claim of not having adequate information to discover the innards of yet another acronym are convenient. From my perspective, your responses to me were "attacks" and your present "attack" is of the very quality of your indictment.
But I don't like the connotations of "attack". I prefer "impassioned banter". |

Dear Mr. McBeath,
You have a point about doing the research. And, I suppose, had I been curious enough, I would have tried harder.
But why single out VS since from the posts it seems that I, h_train, Stephen Jones, and Sheik N Bake were all equally deserving of your scorn for being such thoughtless, lazy non-researchers.
Spread the scorn around, please.
Regards,
John |
