It's been about 12 days and since signing the prov. offer I have not had an interview. The recruiter said they called last week and that no one answered on my end. I was by the phone and it never rang.

I checked my caller ID and there was no incoming call from them.
They could have called the wrong number. I resent my phone to make sure they have it right.

Now they said they will call in the next 2-3 days but this is day 3 and silence. It's a place where I would really like to work so I hesitate to move on but am wondering if this silence may be "what?" I don't know.

It seems like such poor communication between us. I imagine they have other applicants as well and I even wonder if recruiters have stockpiled applicants so they can call on us for other jobs as well.
How long have others waited before the interview or the final hiring phase?
