Looks like a direct way to get into Taiwan public schools. They require state side certified teachers as if CELTA and TESOL certificate holders with Asian EFL experience are not good enough. Rolling Eyes

Is this website for real? A website called "graduateschool.edu" sounds kind of fishy don't you think?

The school is legit. It used to be the USDA (as in United States Department of Agriculture) Graduate School. They mostly train government employees. I've taken about two dozen classes at their Washington, DC location since the early 90s. Their foreign language program has a pretty good reputation. I have taken Chinese and French classes there and was satisfied with the course content and with the instructors. My wife took an ESL class there (she's Taiwanese) and gave it mixed reviews.

I'm surprised they've changed the name but I guess they're trying to expand their market. To prove the legitimacy, try using their old URL:

http://grad.usda.gov

Cheers

Posts that derailed the original query and the subsequent back and forth of personal attacks have been all removed.

To those involved in the derailing and attacks consider this to be your only warning.
