Half the places I've worked at have 'teachers' who manifest as cybernetically enhanced humanoid drones of multiple species, organized as an interconnected collective, the decisions of which are made by a hive mind, linked to subspace domain.

With the continual improvement of the computer generated voice, I suppose this might work at a certain level. But getting it to respond to student questions is further away.

For now, I suspect that we are cheaper. Cool

errm, "cheap as chips"??

(A saying in the UK to denote that something has less value than a packet of potato chips.) But could be construed as to mean that silicone chips are so cheap, they will replace humans if packaged properly)
