				| I think the studio is only one room total and the other is a living room plus a bedroom. But I really don't know. | |

				| Gizzmo, where is it that the housing ads to which you're referring were posted? In most of the U.S., a studio apartment and a single-room apartment are synonymous. Basically, they both are one room with a bathroom and, sometimes, a separate kitchen (otherwise the kitchen may just be an alcove along the wall in the main room or something of that nature). An apartment inclusive of a living room and a bedroom would generally be referred to as a one-bedroom.
Keep in mind, too, a studio with a separate kitchen can also make the apartment feel much bigger than it really is.
