Free housing largely depends on what country you plan on working in.

Good money? ESL? You are very confused. If you want to make good money, find another line of work.

Funny. I've made some pretty good money in this field, and so have plenty of others. Those who haven't shouldn't blame the field for their own choices.

best,
Justin

I believe the best country to earn money is Saudi Arabia, yes the conditions are rather strict but the pay will make up for it. But you need to have a masters and some experience to receive any real money.

If you're a certified teacher, you should have plenty of opportunities to make decent money. Aside from international schools, Hong Kong and the UAE have high-paying jobs in their public schools. For the Hong Kong NET scheme, you get a housing subsidy, a generous monthly salary ($3,500-6,500) and an end-of-contract bonus (15% of two years). Also, I don't think you have to pay taxes for two years. The UAE is similar, although I do not know about the bonus. To me, that sounds pretty good. The top international schools will pay the same salary as your home state + perks (free housing, flights, etc). This is for young learners.

The best paying jobs for adults would usually be at universities in the Gulf region.
