I taught for Nova in Japan a few years back and really enjoyed how each class was about 4 students max. Are there other companies that do this format that anyone can recommend? I'm not too concerned with the country.
Thanks |

Here in Vladivostok, many schools will stuff as many students into one classroom as humanly possible. When I worked at another employer, it was not unusual to have 11, 12 or more students in a quite tiny space. Considering most of the rooms didn't have air-con, it was...cozy.
We have an limit of eight in a class in my school; we split classes if attendance reaches nine. (There are some exceptions, I give the teachers/students the option of not splitting if they're comfortable with the situation; about 75% of the time they choose to split.)
I find that more than eight students is too much of a chore to manage. But that's just my experience. |

@glenski : I actually forgot about those companies, so thanks for the reminder. Do you know if companies like these exist in other Asian countries? |

I know that ECC and GEOS have locations in many countries.
There are many others as well. |

Companies like those? Sure.
Those specific companies? Look at their web sites. I can conform what ttompatz wrote about GEOS but don't recall about ECC.
Keep your eyes open about GEOS. They just closed all their Australian offices, I hear. |
