Dear NCTBA,

Well, after nineteen years, I had so much wasta (having taught, back in the 80s, the Saudis who were all in high administrative positions later on in the IPA - heck, I was even teaching their sons.) that it was, admittedly, a very "humane" situation for me.
I'm still, thanks to the miracles of technology, in touch with many of them.
They were and remain much more friends than "upper management."

Regards,
John

The girls died... being a new father to a girl (now 13 months old), reading the above-linked article sent a chill down my spine and choked me up a little, because I imagined how it would feel to lose a baby. And in this case, 2 babies, at the same time. Sad

At the same time, another part of me feels they are in a better place, not least because of the fact they were from Gaza.
