|
|
Hey all,
I am a U.S citizen currently living in the Philippines.
Recently I was thinking I might like to return to China, and work there again.
The problem, of course, is how to work legally?
I'm not in my home country atm, so I realize that getting the Z visa can be much more difficult that way.
That's why I ask.
If I am trying to get work legally in China without first returning to the U.S, what are peoples suggestions as to how to go about doing that?
Should I get the z-visa in HK?
Should I go to China on a tourist visa and them have them change it to a work permit?
Should I get a job before leaving the Philippines or find one when I arrive?
Mostly I ask this from a legality stand point, I have just shown up in China and found work there before, I know it's not that hard to do, but I want to be legal.
What do you guys suggest? |

Discussed, discussed, discussed.
Be issued your letter of invitation stating to obtain your visa in the Philippines and not the U.S. |

And then go to HK to actually get the Z - Visa? Or I can get that in the Philippines? |

Groan......read some threads............if your Invitation Letter states you are to apply for your Z visa in Manila then you need to apply in Manila. Same for HK or wherever. If it doesn't have any particular place you would probably have to go to US. |
