Does anyone have any experiences or opinions about this school? I searched the archives for "colegio" and couldn't find anything. So if there's already a thread about them, I apologize and would you please either give me the proper search terms to find it or put a link to it here for me.

The Colegio Aleman Juan Hoffmann is actually a real school. However, there is a scam going around the internet where a group of scammers uses the names of real schools but creates fake email addresses and makes job postings looking for ESL teachers on lots of different sites.
They send you a list of questions to answer for your interview, rather than a phone/Skype interview (red flag #1) and then once you email them your answers, they email back saying you got the job and they need you to send them 900 Euros via money gram (red flag #2) to "secure three months' rent."
I've alerted the actual director of the school to let him know this scam is going on and they're using his name. Hopefully this scam will stop. |

This is to notify that there are indeed ESL job offers posted in several websites with our name!
THEY ARE SCAM AND AN INTENT TO DEFRAUD!!
We have never posted any similar job and have nothing to do with this scam! A criminal organisation is using our identity and are asking to send money. Please don�t send them any money, documents, etc.! The website www.colealemanjuanhoffmann.com ist NOT our website and the contact addresses are not ours!
We advise you to report with your local police.
Please don�t hesitate to contact us if you need more details.
