Have we entered into the silly season ? Not much being posted here these days - apart from silliness and trolling.

Maybe it's all been said, Scot. Time to write the great novel and say goodbye to the EFL nerds who know nothing else... Very Happy

Isn't this how it goes every year? This is the "season" between... lots of jobs yet to be offered and accepted. The paper chase hasn't begun in earnest for next academic year. Newbies have yet to be offered that job that they think sounds so "exotic and adventurous."

They will all be here soon enough... ignoring much of the advice...

Yup! I want to experience the culture and save the world while making a tons of money!!! Razz . I've only taught kindergarten for six months but I have a GRRREEAAATT attitude and a two-week online ESL certificate. I need to save at least $4000 a month. What're my chances of landing a cool job in Saudi Arabia?

My associate based in Port Harcourt with offices in Medellin will be in touch shortly with an interesting offer. Please handle the contact discreetly and do not inform others.

Not all of us VS Very Happy I've actually learned quite a bit from reading posts from each of you. Please don't get tired of us as yet! I even turned down my second job offer today (the whole ..be prepared to walk away, advice came from someone....hmm, can't recall that annoying but quite helpful guy's name Very Happy)!

And scotty, some of us actually enjoy the banter between you guys. You have formed quite the little family here. I dare say, you guys are more entertaining that the majority of shows passing for entertainment these days (complement intended ..o.O..).

PS- Gun toting bald guy... fix your reading aid!

If you think it's quiet here you should mosey on down to the UK boards (some peoples' final destination) and you can see the tumbleweed blowing gently through those mean deserted threads. It's moonless and quiet and all is still.

Spooky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
