What went wrong in the interviews? Did they ask questions you didn't expect/weren't prepared for, or did they just seem not to like you?

I am usually a pretty quiet guy, so I find it hard to be lively in interviews. I think this gives the interviewer a bad impression.
Should I just relax and be myself or should I try to give the impression that I'm an outspoken and charismatic guy?

dont put a lot of stock in these "interviews." i had one face to face interview five years ago and the school was desperate for someone. i would have had the job no matter how the interview went, and for the record, they didn't ask much. they only wanted to know when i could begin and how much money i wanted.

i did another in-house job interview in 2003 and i thought it went well, but the call never came, even though i was told at the conclusion of the interview "everything was fine."

i did a job interview (by phone) for my current school, where i've been for five years now, and it wasn't much either, but at least they asked a few pertinent questions and they had previously answered any questions i had by email.

failed at a few job interviews? don't worry, as long as your resume, certificate(s) and deportment are intact, just keep on going and you'll get something eventually.
