hey maniac

im just getting the impression that you would really like to hear someone say here 'go ahead maniac'

how can you even seriously consider accepting a job without a contract?

put your hand on your heart (wo)man: what makes you want to go to saudi arabia? or what makes you want to leave the place where you are now?

Honestly, I have no idea about the place, but been told that the interview will be conducted in Jeddah, in the light of it they will send me to one of these places: Jeddah itself, Riyadh or Madina.
But according to my knowledge, the staff in Madina are happy and the management is good, therefore no body leaves his place, unlike Riyadh which is very bad and alot of teachers have already escaped !! I expect to send us to Riyad, or in the best chance, we will stay in jeddah.
The salary is $ 3000 a month ( 11300 SR ), accommodation and trasport are provided by the company.
The problem is that some teachers comments and impressions are bad about IGIT , the pay always late, not on time, except Medina they are lucky to get good management. Also the communications with the company is bad as well, through internet only. This is what some teachers wrote about the company on this website.
If you desperate about the job, go ahead, maybe you will get Medina or Jeddah. Nothing in Saudi Arabia is perfect, but money is good and saving is better than any GCC countries.
We have to acknowledge their mismanagement and chaos as part of Saudis character, but if they are well-managed and well-developed, we cannot find job with them. We find job due to their underdevelopment ! and backwardness ! We have to be patient. For me I think I am not going because I am doing MBA to quit teaching forever, and my supervisor asked me to stay here in the UK, the future is better with MBA rather than teaching English which is very stressful and leading to early madness and fossilized mind !!

Dear hashim99uk.

: . . . teaching English which is very stressful and leading to early madness and fossilized mind !!"

Ah ha - well, that explains a lot about most of the posters on these fora (but not me, of course - I'm sane, I tell you, SANE. DO YOU HEAR ME!!!!)
As for the fossilized mind, I ask you - does this look anything like a fossil?

Of course not. Now, if I can only get it back in.

Regards,
Brainless John

Abandon hope all ye who enter this place. Do not go there.

Can I now expect salvoes of flak for being "negative" ? And for giving an answer that does not correspond to what the OP wants to hear ?

Whatever happens - I will keep flying my Avro Lancaster over enemy territory.

I always read the negative comments from negative people like Scot47, Never Ceased to be amazed/ and Veiledsentiments..they are always negative and dissapoint teachers from getting any job in KSA.
I went to Workforce Solution office myself in London, I found them on 3 Bath Road,Hounslow ( heathrow area ) and met with the manager Mr.Rajab ( palestininan ) and 2 employees: Alisa and Manal. The main job is recruiting people for Heathrow airport, cleaning, security...etc but due to current recession they switch to provide SA with teachers. no relationship between IGIT and Workforce, the owners are different.
I got my Work visa in 4 days. and Mr.Rajab told me that IGIT improved their services now. It is a real company and IGIT is based in Riyadh-Abu Baker street and they have telephones and faxes numbers. some teachers who comment here draw very negative images as the company is not exist and it is just a name to cheat people !! maybe there is some mismanagement but it is common in SA everywhere, but it is a real company.

Dear hashim99uk,

I always read the negative comments from negative people like Scot47, Never Ceased to be amazed/ and Veiledsentiments..they are always negative and dissapoint teachers from getting any job in KSA."

The above-mentioned posters are negative about jobs and employers in and recruiters for Saudi that are, at best, inefficient, incompetent, and unfair and, at worst mendacious, callous and greedy.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of them in both categories, and the number seems to be increasing.

Beyond your meeting with Workforce Solution in England, have you had any experience working in Saudi for anyone? And if so, where and for whom?

Regards.
John
