|
|
I am planning a backpacking trip throughout china for August and I want to fly into Beijing and leave from shanghai. I want to take the train from Beijing to Xi'an (13 hours) and after a few days in Xi'an take another to Shanghai (13 hours as well).
What would be the typical cost of these trainrides to set aside for transportation costs for this trip?
Thank you so much!!! |

Victory Day - so nobody's watching the train supply, I guess:)
I have great memories of this time of year in Moscow, and am feeling a bit sad I'm not there.
However, none of this helps our OP with the Price of Trains in China
Sorry for the hijack; I'll refrain in future. |

A train from where I'm at (about 450 kilometers from Beijing) is 106 yuan (15 USD). Half that for students. |
