Hi
I just did the visa run to Bulgaria from Istanbul. It was so easy.

I got the metro bus to Edirne. It cost 10tl, it stops just outside the city so you have to get off and onto the waiting minibus right next to it. If there is no service bus from metro just go through the station and there are minibus' there. Just ask for Edirne.

You know your coming to the centre when you see the bazar and there is a huge mosque. There seems to be 1 main minibus street I'm sorry I couldn't find out the name but get off when you see a sculpture of some huge tulips, there is also a tourist information office on that side of the street.

Get off and wait for the minibus Kapikule, dont worry if its taking a while mine didn't come for 25 mins. Just stand opposite the tourist information office. Stay on the bus till the end of the road(border control).

Get off and walk. Don't do this walk at night. As there aren't really any paths. Go to the green light. Dont say your working :)

Just walk around. Go through the shop and back to Turkey. Make sure you have the correct change. Then do I everything I just said but in reverse.

Whole thing door to door including visa 68tl. It took about 5 hours in total.
Don't freak out it is sooooooooooooo easy

what is the point of visa run?
Is this all because of the illegal working?

Thanks so much, exactly the info I needed.
What country are you from?/Where is your Visa from?
How much did it cost to get the new Visa (in USD preferred) I am from Canada but paid in USD the last time.
Cheers!

I am from England. I don't know if Canadians need a visa to go to Bulgaria. I paid 20usd for the visa, I think you can also pa euro but I dont know the exact amount.

Also a note to all the haters out there. Not everyone has an easy life where everything works out perfect. I had no choice but to come here and work. But as from September I will be legel.YAY. So shut it haters we dont need you in this world.

Hey guys..well I also did the visa run in Bulgarian Border in Kapikule and it was way easier than I thought..Apperantly,Girish Chikish,is so common there...The only weird part was when the Turkish Border cop asked me to do the girish chikish to Bulgaria as well, while I belive the other guy hadnt done that..so I thought the cop might have been crazy or sth..Anyhow,the cop even told me not to kill a minute ..all the stuff took me the whole walking time between border gates..some 20 min or less..I loved it....
Dont u guys worry about anythingggggg...Turkey is awsome...
