Hi All-
Can I ask if anyone has enrolled or completed the MA in Tesol at the University of Missouri- Columbia (distant learning)?
Also, with just a bs in finance... isn't a MA in Tesol or Linguistics etc. required for most university positions? My countries of choice would be China, Middle East, Colombia..or any Job that pays 3k and up USD a month.
Thanks! |

Many university jobs in the Middle East do require an MA + experience. (Not all, though--there are some that hire through recruiters, who accept candidates with BAs.) You would still not be a professor, though. That requires a PhD. You'd be a teacher in the language program, not a professor in one of their degree programs.

In Japan, yes, you need at least that kind of master's. |
