Dear scot47,

I think the readers' comments, such as these, say it all. A twenty-four year old woman - or, for that matter, a 42 or 84 year old woman - clearly needs adult supervision.

It is a purely family affair, is this to be covered in a national news paper and what is the motive, was photograph really required to cover this news.

This is really shame that this reporter has found this story worth printing. Its their internal matter and this is just like people sitting on street corners and discussing about each other. I am not sure why Arab news is encouraging these stories to appear in their paper.

This is lesson for all those who are migrating to different countries. They have always two options either to loose thier kids or to save them from all this non sense. This girl will regret one day but it will take time. His father was & is right. No problem Quran says Wa Bil Wale Dayna Ehsana she will be also one day mother of someone and she will also thru this trauma what she she has created for father. Who feed her brought her up. Surprising thing is while living in KSA she did not have proper islamic knowledge or it seems she has spent whole time in watching TV or roaming on internet. Parents are also responsible for this. every parent should watch their childrens till they are mature."

Regards,
John

But wait... her boyfriend, now husband I guess... is named... Bjorn?!?! It never did mention his nationality.

And the reason her family was against the marriage was... not because he wasn't Muslim... or wasn't Saudi... or hadn't been chosen by them as usually happens... wait for it... but because his mother smokes!!

OMG!!

Dear veiledsentiments,

Ah, you found the smoking gun. Hey, I don't blame them; that second-hand smoke's a real killer.
