Dear sharter,
Actually, unless one has a very good sense of humor, especially of the absurdist and black varieties, one is unlikely to last too long in Saudi.

| Agree with scot and john. Booze won't get you through, trips to Bahrain won't get you through, but a good sense of humor will get you through without even being bitter. If you don't ever lose that sense of the absolute absurdity of Saudi Arabia, you will literally laugh all the way to the bank. It was the hardest place I ever worked, but also without a doubt the most hysterically funny place I have ever visited. |
