Why? because my partner has a JET position there. While this limits my job options, it does mean i have fewer worries about accomodation, etc. So I guess I am not 'desperate' as such, but rather limited. |

Have you considered coming over on a working holiday visa and then searching for work. That would allow you to do pretty much whatever you wanted for 6 months to a year. Tokushimia Prefecture is rural, so if your partner is in a more rural area away from the city of Tokushima, there might not be many English schools. However, you could probably pick up a few private students until you found something better. |
