I'm not sure this board has ever had sayonara sales listed. Over at the Korean forums they've more sections so maybe you're thinking of that?

Where do you live? If your city has a free paper/mag then list your items under the classifieds. Actually your post has reminded me of a former poster here. She was despairing of selling anything of hers in Fukuoka. I pm-ed her and told her where she could post a free ad and gave other suggestions.

I saw the ad in a Fukuoka free mag but she never bothered to even pm me to say 'thanks'. I just don't understand the lack of courtesy of some people in life and on these forums. I suppose it's the 'I'm too busy' Rolling Eyes mentality but nearly all of us are 'too busy' in one way or another.

She worked in Korea first and then in Japan. She mentioned how she had been 'very lonely' in Korea but I suspect she was all take and no give. Good luck with getting rid of your things! Smile

Information centers in your area would be a good place to start.

I think you're in Tokyo, Little Peaches? Metropolis magazine (and also the online version) is the place to list sayonara sales here. You could also try Tokyo Notice Board- it's a smaller magazine, but they also do lots of classifieds. Both do non-commercial listings for free.

Yes I'm in Tokyo and Thanks for your input! Hopefully I can sell my stuff there! Is there is high or low season for selling things? I appreciate all the help!
