I've finished my TEFL certification on line. I've got a new resume. I'm ready to go. Now what? Just kiddin'.
I would like a Spanish speaking country and am open to anyplace in Central or South America. I'm looking for a company that will help with the transition (i.e. Work visa, housing, etc.) Most of the things I am finding want a fee and I've read on several sites that this isn't advised.
Anyways, could use any help or suggestions. Anyone vacating a great position? |

Mexico is the best bet if you want a visa. Many places in Latin America won't bother with the visa, so be sure to ask ahead of time. |

Visa, visa, visa. My hubby works out of the country and after 4 years, he is experiencing visa issues. Not a very supportive company. Anyways, check! The idea of not being legal scares me. I don't want to be 'locked up' abroad. |

You'd have to really piss someone off to go into the lock up, though it is a small risk.
Echoing naturegirl, Mexico is a relatively easy spot to get working papers. |
