Hello everyone
I would like to know which course books are being used at the different schools in Saudi Arabia. If you could tell me the course book you use, and the level you are teaching, I would be very appreciative.
For instance, here at Jubail Technical Institute, which is at the tertiary level, we are using the All-Star series.
Thanks to anyone and everyone who replies!! |

The last time Schrodinger checked, curiosity neither killed the cat nor didn't kill the cat.
I'm collecting data for my MA, which concerns language policy here. Hoping to get some information from the forum, but otherwise will contact schools directly.
Best regards |

Thanks to everyone who PMed me with info on course books. It may be that I haven't posted enough to be able to PM back. I am particularly interested on whether the course books you use are Middle East version or you adapt the material for your students. Even if I couldn't personally thank you, I very much appreciate your kind responses. |

It is only 5 posts to send and receive PMs... so if you get them, you should be able to send them.

I heard from a friend working at Al Yamamah University that the foundation program uses "Cutting Edge" and for IT students the university uses "Info Tech". However, the lower levels communication classes are still following the Interlink method of no books.
Lastly, the textbooks are not actually purchased. The teachers copy the books, a unit at a time, for the students. |

...................in clear violation of copyright, which is now enforceable in KSA. Millions for the new buildings but Al Yamamah is too mean to buy books ! Am I surprised ? |
