I am currently applying with EF and Ive already been through the 2 phone interviews (both went very well they said.) I was told that they were just waiting on one more of my references then we'd begin the next phase of the hiring process.
That was 3 weeks ago.
I dont know if my reference has sent the paper work back, or if EF is just working on other things in the mean time, or if they've taken me off the hiring track.
Anyone know the normal time span for the hiring process? Im just excited and want things settled as soon as they can be  |

Yeah, like your reply was really helpful...
Why not email EF and ask the status of your application? There can be a lot of factors involved in the speed at which things are processed at any given school; perhaps they can enlighten you! |

I had emailed them a couple of weeks ago asking how things were going with the application. Finally got an email yesterday saying that they still havent received one of my references. So that eased my mind a bit - glad it wasnt a problem with me!
So I have contacted the 2nd referee to remind her to please please send in that reference asap. |

So my referee finally sent in the reference...a month ago. Now its back to the waiting game.
how long did it take each of you all to go through the application process? I would just like to know one way or the other so I can start planning/saving. |

I found that the odd 'Hi there, just wondering how my application is coming along, do you need any more info?' type message jogged them along a bit. When I applied 3 years ago, the process was quickish but I know that at the moment, the procedure seems to be taking longer.
I figure that when it involves a group of schools such as Swara, Surabaya/East Java etc, it might take a little longer as they have several schools and need to figure out where to place you. |
