				| My 2 year dzialnosc gospodarcza stint is up and next month Im gonna croak with my first 930zl ZUS payment, heaven help me, plus eventual income tax.
Do you guys stomach it or what? Im thinking of closing my business and just working under an umowa o dzielo, its taxed at 19% after subtacting 20% of your income and no ZUS shit.

So making 4000zl under dzialnosc gospodarcza boom goes 930zl but I can write off a lot of business expenses so I rarely ever pay income tax.
Or go the umowa o dzielo where I pay 608zl income tax no matter what but no ZUS, saving 300zl a month, but with no public health insurance (which is pretty much useless though).

Anyone been down this road before, what did you do?

				| You shouldn't be paying anywhere near that. I pay 750 odd zl per month (I'll get the exact figures when I get back home) for zus.
Getting work on a UoDz is a way out, but to be honest having a company opens up a lot more doors. Maniak, I can't remember where you're based but have you tried developing your own clientele/contacts/business activities?

				| I remember 930 as thats what my accountant said, my friend says he pays 850, well Im gonna meet my accountant next week so well see.
Im in Wroclaw and I already have a number of side businesses except all are under the table which actually suits me just fine. I thought about registering one of them under my existing company (since Im only registered for teaching and translation) but then I am not a VAT payer which would actually hurt more than help in this case...

				| i'm in wroclaw as well, i pay 800 per month.
it's awful paying that much but there's nothing else i can really do. it especially hurts when i have a slow month. regardless of how much income I generate, ZUS still spanks me for 800 bones.

 damn socialists

				| I got a job so don't pay the full rate anymore.
Don't panic! It's not that bad. ZUS full rate is about 850zl pcm. 600 social, 250 health. The 600 is tax deductable and the 250 health is deducted for your overall tax bill. With other expenses, you'd have to earn a hell of a lot to pay any income tax.
