Pay or setup your own. $5 - $9 USD a month and you'll get 1 or 2 US IPs that are "safe" and no-one else uses but you. |

All of the services associated with a certain peaceful meditation group continuously go in and out of service. They're free and well known to everyone with a stake in the game; just goes with the territory. At this moment, 1 works and 2 don't where I live. Said peaceful meditation group is nothing if not dedicated, though, so just keep trying from day to day (or week to week) and one or the other (or all) will be up and running. |

Use the Opera browser and then add the widget 'em yxorp' (use a mirror!)
It's free, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, but it should get you to where you want to go.
I should add, if you're like me, and rely on Google for pictures in your presentations, a good alternative is 'relwarcbew' (use a mirror). It searches other search engines and the images don't stop after a page or two of hits. |

Solved the problem. The Freegate's (default configuration) conflicts to a degree with Google's Chrome browser. It works fine if you stick with IE. |
