ok, i'm back with my final follow-up. i sent the recruiter an email explaining why i disagreed and said i was no longer interested in continuing with him. i suppose he could have just accepted that and moved on, or sent an email acknowledging it, but he somehow had the need to reply, with red text embedded within my email, detailing how wrong i was.
now i assume this guy is a full-time recruiter, tasked with filling positions. a busy guy, looking for teachers. i am not a teacher. i have no experience, and my teaching credentials are, ummm, non-existant (not counting a 60-hour online tefl that i did not have when i first contacted him). i should be way down on his to-do list, so why the need to respond? why is he wasting his precious time writing to me AFTER i told him i want to end the relationship? odd.
not only that, but he did a web search for some information to prove i was incorrect on one point. more time wasted, when he could simply have called the school, and asked whichever admin assistant answered the phone. and that's the thing.....at no time did he contact the school for answers to my questions, mostly just pulled them out his pigu.
i did not respond. what would be the point?
