I'm considering signing a contract with them. The manager of the school has been really helpful in answering all of my questions in a timely manner. However, I keep hearing negative things about their school on this website.

Please give me your opinions.

Is DD Dragon any better? I've also received an offer from them.

I might be wrong, but I don't think there's actually a 'Shane'.

It's like Mr. Kipling, or Uncle Sam.

It was a typo and I just edited it. Of course I know that his name isn't Shane because I have just been talking with the manager of the school several times. Anyway, thanks for your help Rolling Eyes

I cant offer a definitive opinion on either of the schools as I havent worked for them (although having looked at the job ads/offers/website etc) I thought Shane looked like it might be OK.

What I did want to say though, was at some stage, you just have to take a leap of faith. If one of the job offers is in a town/city that you especially want to be in, thats a good start IMO. Perhaps there is an age group you prefer to/or not to, teach? Thats another good place to start ...

Different people have different experiences in China...so opinions may not be altogether useful. I had an email today from a female teacher who did a midnight runner from my last school. She is still complaining bitterly about the place, and moans like hell about it, yet I thought it was great!
