Hello all,
I am coming to Mexico shortly and am preparing my paperwork here. Which papers do I need to apostatize?
-College Diploma
-College Transcripts
-Birth Certificate
Do not all of these things have to be apostatized? Or is there anything you would recommend?
Also is it OK to apostille copies of these things?
Thanks. |

The only thing you need apostilled is whatever justifies you having the FM3 to work legally here. Immigration are the only ones that want to see apostilles.
If you have a tefl cert, apostille that.
If you're going to use your college diploma, aposille that - it needs to be in an area relevant to languages/language teaching. |

I would ask the requesting agency, your future employer or school what you need to apostille because each place has different criteria . Also, ask them if they want it translated as well. Do they want the translated version apostille? So these are question you have to ask your future employer or school.
There's a place that provide translation, notary, background check, apostille; www.apostillepros.com
All you have to do is send them your original documents and they FedEx everything back to you completed.

This may be true for most, or even almost everyone, but my experience was an exception. Thus better to apostille it anyway just in case. |

I was just hired in Mexico. The school sent me info about new FM3 laws in Mexico and that we did NOT have to have any documents aposilled.
Would double check with the school though. They may want or need it for another reason. |
