Anti-Darwinian peeve: "It's just a theory, nobody has proved it!"

Such silliness should peeve all thinking men and force them to smack imbeciles who say such rot over the head with a dictionary.

Which reminds me - 'proved' vs. 'proven'.

A peeve that can enrage me as I cannot discern one from the other myself, and am therefore denied the privilege of being peeved by others!

Now, THAT I like! Tell me, do the teachers who teach on those ol' dinosaurs still wear those frilly things on the end of their arms to keep chalk dust off the cuffs??? Very Happy

Wish I could get hold of a frilly thing that would keep off chalk dust (NOT a Dutch student, just to be really clear. Far too much baggage in return for the chalk-dust-prevention service). Surprised
