Almost any market will have movies for 10 - 15 pesos. However, those won't be original movies, but rather, clones or replicas, or whatever the person decides to call them so he doesn't have to call them pirated.

I thought sweeney was talking about admission to movie theaters.

Thanks to everyone for their contributions. I printed them all out to discuss in class tonight. Guy, I also love most of the sounds, especially the camote guy, there is something about those things, yum. The only sound I hate is my neighbor's fighting rooster that crows at all hours of the day and night. I live on a quiet Cerrada, and you can really hear that d*mn thing. Several neighbors are trying to come up with a way to kill it, but so far no one has come up with a good plan, since it lives on the roof. I am hoping it isn't a good fighter, and will loose a fight. Very soon!

I love public transport here... and the fact that I can go just about anywhere I want without using a car. I miss driving sometimes (highway driving, you couldnt pay me to drive in Mexico City or any other big city) but I love that if I decide to up and go someplace some weekend at the last minute... there's a bus going within a very reasonable amount of time.

Some of that shine has come off since I was robbed on a bus to Teotihuacan... but I still travel. Im just a lot more careful about my stuff.

Or hope for a raptor. One time a wild bird of prey nearly took out our neighbour-across-the-streets roof chicken.
