Hi there,

I found a 5 week old kitten on the street. I love her very much and will be keeping her but I have to travel out the kingdom for two months.

Looking for someone in Jeddah or Riyadh who would be willing to foster. She is clean, free of worms (checked by a vet) and very friendly with everyone she meets. She was too young to get shots so I still need to give them to her.

I have a litter box, toys, food, litter, a carrier, food bowls but just need someone to take her in for 2 months.

She will show you a lot of love and is fine living in a small apartment. If you can help or know of anyone who could help please PM me...

We brought Jazz in through Bahrain in 2009. He had all his papers plus Bahrain even quarentined him for one day and did a rabies vacine test on him. Well at the bridge crossing the cusroms guy saw the cat case and told us we had to clear tbrough quarentine to enter Saudia. It was the most stressful time in our lives (Jazz included). It took two hours of convincing and tea drinking for the vet to stamp his papers. He checked his teeth (?) and eyes (??) and then looked at his cat passport and Bahrain papers again the said 'yallah'.

My point is......

Getting all the right papers just aint enough sometimes. We had no problems in Europe or North America though.

She is too young to move because she hasn't got all her shots yet or been fixed or microchipped.

This is why I need to find a foster home for her for two months.

Hopefully by the time I leave Saudi she will have all her papers and everything in order.
