Looks like Korea is stepping up some of its requirements for the teaching visa. Its amazing to me that they think this is actually going to work, or that people are actually that desperate to work there. The process was already annoying, time consuming and expensive and now they are making it even worse.
I say this is less than good for teachers in china for 2 reasons:
1) some of the annoyed teachers will leave there and come here, which will not help wages or job availability.
2) this could possibly encourage china to do the same types of things at some point in the future. im barely interested in staying here as it is. |

They've required criminal background check, original degree, and original transcripts for some time now.
And what is the point? This is not the Korea forum. |

their rules just changed, its about twice as time consuming as it was before. and the point was pretty clear, put into a list for you and everything. |
