WinBe is a carbon copy of ALS. The vast majority of the students are elmentary and jhs age. The schools are broken down into branch schools and franchise schools. At a franchise you are at the mercy of the owner (good owner=good situation). Pretty standard in terms of conversation schools. There tends to be more freedom at the franchise schools IF your owner is decent. Also, at some schools, depending on the number of students, you may be the only (foreign) teacher. Overall, I'd say WinBe/ALS are fairly reliable (they pay on time, set up the apt., telephone, decent vacation time, etc.). Just find out if you will be at a branch or franchise school; and if at a franchise ask to speak to a curent teacher if possible, to find out about that owner. |
