Hello to everybody!
I'm an American male teacher.
I am thinking of trying out teaching TEFL in Cambodia for 6-12 months.
And I have a few questions:
1. I have 5 years solid experience teaching English (Language schools, Secondary Schools, Business Classes) in Mexico. I have a 120 hour on-site TEFL with 6 hours teaching practice. No degree. Any problems?
2. Visas. Can anybody grab a work/business visa upon entry to Cambodia?
3. How's the job market in Phnom Penh?
Thanks in advance! |

When you arrive at the airport you you apply for a business visa. It costs about $25 and can be renewed every month refer to

or just do a google |

Wow
Thanks for an informative post... was that after some "happy" pizza
I think a person should gather as much info as possible about a place before investing time and more importantly, money into going there. |

I'd suggest taking a vacation and looking at the job market. I lived in Sihanoukville for half a year and all of the teaching jobs I looked into didn't pay worth a shit. If you buy a business visa upon entry you can renew it every month, or buy a long term visa from one of the businesses that provide visa service. |
