English Time in Istanbul uses its own materials.
Most of the teachers and students (clients) will admit that the material is very poor.
However you may think that the management would take on board the
CELTA (rather dated) or TESOL (ESA) principles and ideas.
But no, NO SUPPLEMENTARY MATERIAL ALLOWED.
Wow.
This is one BAD organization.

| Yes, ET continues in its decline. Some quality teachers had stuck around even after the implementation of ET's own books. We were allowed to use whatever materials we wanted in class, which was only fair considering the ET books are are completely useless. Now that's all changed. We are no longer allowed to bring in outside resources. Photocopying is banned. Not to say that the school ever had any claim to professionalism, but now it is nearly impossible to teach in a professional manner at ET. I, for one, will be very happy when my contract ends. |
