Dear Master

May I recommend a nice small Russian town just inside the Arctic circle. There are quite a few of them. Any one of them will be just perfect for what you need.

I don't really think the OP is serious, now that I read it again. If he is, well....but I think he just wanted to see what responses he would get. I mean, look at it, he doesn't like going to school but wants to teach in a school, considered doing it illegally (BUT THAT MIGHT BE BAD!), looking for women.......

Depends your definition of serious. Because i post here doesnt mean I'm going to hand my life over to you but I am seriously researching.

I wouldnt mind teaching English to people that doesnt mean that I have to like being in a classroom learning subjects that I have no interest in being around people that I have no interested in.
So, you presume to think that you can teach a language to people who don't speak that language, while having piss-poor language skills yourself, all while not ever bothering to spend the time in a classroom actually learning how to teach the language?

I ask if doing it illegally is good? Listen, I have heard several people make it seem easy and probably better to do it illegally because you save and I'm just asking about it. That doesnt mean I'm going to do it.
STUPID QUESTION! Let me ask you this: what do you think about people who presume to enter your country illegally to work in a job that, by your country's standards, pays more than what a lot of people make?

Amused all the way to the bone marrow.

Master, in a way, I am glad someone brought up the subject of:
1) 'do not like learning but do like the idea of teaching- there is a difference'
2) 'Teaching for fun to show off in front of the chicks'

This is a textbook example of someone who needs some time to mentally mature and understand the relation between learning and teaching before they stand in front of a classroom. To teach you have to learn; whilst teaching you have to learn. If you do not like the sound of this, then forget the whole teaching scenario.

In my opinion, teaching is not about standing in front of the classroom like a commander, ordering your students to learn this and that.

In my opinion, teaching is ABSOLUTELY NOT doing the above whilst winking at the female students to see which one will give you tonight...

Get real man!! The bartending suggestion was a spot-on one! More money, more gals- what more could you possibly want? Laughing

It the idea of teaching is still attracting you after reading all the responses to your posts, then read all the responses at least once more- your first lesson starts right there.

Typos are okay, it's the people who can't speak English who want to teach English that gets our dander up.

PS: I notice your kinda new at this, ronett, so I wanted to let you know that in the upper right hand corner of a completed post, there is an "edit" button.

Let me see. You need an entry level job where the benefits are travel, girls and money?

Go join the military.

Then if you're still serious about teaching English when you've had your fill of the above you can make a mint teaching military ESP.

This is true. Arctic gear is particularly alluring for Russian females. They can't help themselves. I recommend any of the Solovetsky Islands. Despite being way up north, the chicks there are known for their Latin liberalism and love for North Americans in winter uniform. As it is a major tourist destination, there should be ample opportunity as a guide or even as an instructor for guides.
