Hello Lalita,
In answer to your query, "Coronation Street" is available as part of one of the OSN package deals on the 'Show Series' channel. And let's not forget 'Emmerdale Farm' !
However, the episodes are all 3 years old!
(Jimmy McGovern's grittier "The Street" has also been shown recently.
The BBC Entertainment channel shows episodes of EastEnders ,too.
As for Postman Pat and his cat, this poster can not vouch.
Details of these OSN packages are available at: http://www.osnetwork.com/subscribe/default_en_gb.aspx
And for details of the daily schedules... http://www.osnetwork.com/onlineguide/schedules/series_en_gb.aspx

Dear NCTBA,
I know the poster was trying to write "vicious"- which is exactly what the poster was being.
If you're going to be it, you should know how to spell it.

I KNEW that I had seen the opening scene of that series before hurriedly changing channels! It had such a rockin' opening musical score!

| Queen Cleo is right about BBC Prime and BBC World. My only excuse is that I have renounced Televison as being the Work of the Devil. |

And cars too! Anything else?? Me, I am dissolute. I've been like George Clooney my whole life, racking up those frequent flyer miles since time immemorial (and other relevant cliches), but in COACH class and I'm sick of it. So back in the world, I love to go first class on the ground with my luxury sedan.
OK, I never go off-topic, ahem, so back to you. |

Mr Brave Heart I seem to remember that it was your compatriot Mr John Yogi Bear who invented TV. Are you intimating that the Dark Lord Satan is really a SCOT ???!!!!
I think everyone needs to know on this one.

Well, The American will tell you it was Farnsworth who invented the TV, the Russian will tell you it was Zworykin who invented the TV, and Uncle Scott will tell you it was his great grand father, Baird, who invented the TV! |

Whinin' about "bad teachers" based on their long history of hard study and the habit of pullin' up outside of small convenience stores and honking yer horn incessantly until the near-slave who works in there brings you out yer cup o' tea.,,
for which he doesn't receive a tip or "Thank You"...

Hello,
Does anyone have experience using Satellite TV in Saudi Arabia?
Can you get the basic British TV channels? How much do these packages normally cost and who are good providers?
Thanks! |
Try this one day.
1. Find the channel thst has the Saudi men clapping and dancing.
2. Get all your pizzas, burgers, and refreshments ready on the coffee table beside your seat.
3. Start watching for as long as possible.
warning: do not try this at home

Git yersilves registered on www.uknova.com (if there are any spare 'slots'). It's basically a site where loads of yesterday's UK TV and radio (BBC Radio 4, mainly) are shared via torrent. It's all totally legit. and you don't need a UK IP address.
"I'd never be without my uknova", says PierogiMonster of Krakow (soon to be Middle East). |

With the Orbit-Showtime package you can watch Eastenders (about 3 weeks late) - BBC ENTERTAINMENT Coronation Street (about 2/3 weeks late) - it used to be 4 years late! and Emmerdale - SHOWSERIES.
Never seen Postman Pat but BBC ENTERTAINMENT regularly has stuff like Teletubbies - all programs rotated.
With the Orbit-Showtime package you have quite a bit of UK content. |
