Run to the hill screaming. Dodgy as hell without a doubt, it may be their policy but the policy of business around the globe is that you check and sign at least two identical copies of the contract, signed on each page so no one can start removing staples and changing pages. One is yours, one is theirs.
It makes me chuckle the things some companies expect people to deal with. I worked for a company once and signed a contract to which they kept bringing me a new, amended contract during the existing one and expected me to sign it. Basically I told them to get stuffed and if they had a problem I would be happy to see them in court. I left at the end of the 12 months. |
