| sorry, haven't been on the board for awhile. i spent many months in Vung Tau. There are a few furnished flat buildings, most very secure, but usually small. Expect rent and utilities to come to 5-6 million total each month. If you get to know some other teachers and local viets, it is also pretty easy to find a spacious furnished house around town, anywhere from 3 million - 10 million or more (that would be getting into the private swimming pool range).
