I am tentatively thinking about importing a boat for varying reasons and was wondering if anyone has had any experience of keeping / owning a boat here in Hong Kong?
I was wondering what the annual costs would be and what it takes to actually be allowed to keep and run a boat here.
How much is it going to cost me? |

Moorage fees vary hugely in HK. I know someone who lives on a junk in Aberdeen harbour who pays something like 3,000HK a month. |

Agreed. And Aberdeen's relatively cheap. Discovery Bay and Gold Coast for example charge a fair bit more, with options to join their clubs.
Also quite competitive to get a mooring space. |
