Ah Vietnam, a place to lose bad habits due to unavailability, and to pick up new ones due to ubiquity of opportunity. How about this; whenever you want a chew crush a ba ba can on your forehead and smile. |

You could always try Betel nut- arica- Locals chew it- Gives em a high but makes your mouth red. Probably no worse for you than chewing baccy. |

Whatever you do, please don't introduce the idea of chewing tobacco to the local lads. Walking on the street here is enough of a trial without having navigate puddles of revolting black spit. |
