Actually, I think Bush would have been a good president if he had kept to one of his campain ideas ...America should not get involved in nation building, a statement that I think history often shows to be true.

Like most American, I am glad Gore has firmly dissapeared.

How about Feingold/McCain in 2004?
It'd be great, but probably impossible. McCain can't even bring himself to endorse Kerry, and Kerry is a republican compared to Feingold!

Not to be serious, but I really can't see much difference between a Kerry admin and a Bush admin except ...

Kerry is a better actor, and better at PC speak (and yes, probably more intelligent, if that is a plus) Bush walks strange, and doesn't know how to hold his hands.

We would lose Rice as security babe..I mean Security Advisor, and that would be a bummer.

Sen Kennedy would have to be given a position of authority, which scares me far worse then anything else.

Bush could go back to the Texas Rangers, and they might finally have a winning season again.

Powell could regain his dignity.

Cheney could finally retire for good, which he deserves. I mean that in a positive way. I really do respect the guy. Can we imagine who Kerry's running mate would be?

Mean like Dean?

Rev Al, Blacks can't be racist, Sharpton?

Jesse, out of the lime light Jackson?

Senator , still no one knows who I am, Edwards?

Help me out a little

Arioch, my help for you would be to send you to a room where there are many crayons.

Thanx Jud, I would like that. What is best is when you use crayons on paper, then paint over it, and then scratch off the paint.

I don't like eating crayons though. Crying or Very sad

Lets' see. In his last budget proposal, Bush offered the American public a 521 billion dollar deficit (That's $521,000,000,000). And many people call him a conservative. I don't get it.

Bush is stupid but Cheney is a criminal and will likely end up retired and jailed at some point. I just love his statement about why he didn't serve in the armed forces during the Viet Nam era. "I had better things to do." Brilliant and "the" one honest statement anyone in public ever heard from him.

Cheney and his PNAC, People for a New American Century, had planned this war against Iraq long before Bush came onto the picture. Bush was the perfect patsy because he was 1) electable as President 2) not a deep thinker 3) had oil connections in the middle east, notably Saudi Arabia and 4) had government ties and leftover ambitions from his father's presidency. Iraq was an easy sell to him, even before 9/11/2001. Paul Wolfowitz, the number two civilian at the Pentagon and one of the drivers of PNAC, wrote in 1992 that Iraq would be easier to defeat than Bosnia. Is Bosnia much in the news these days? Their whole premise was to secure the oil and Israel's security. They deny that, but I'd venture that since Wolfowitz holds dual citizenship why would he not use his influence for Israel's benefit. (Please, please, do not misinterpret this as an anti-semitic barb.)

As well, the company that Cheney used to head, Halliburton, was given a no-bid, billions-of-dollars contract to reconstruct Iraq. No other company had a chance. Either this was outright corruption going against U.S. government policy or shows a great lack of foresight on those who strove to take us to war in Iraq.

Anyway, as things stand, Iraq is a mess. Afganistan is slowly sliding back into the middle ages and Osama bin Laden is still a great influence, alive or dead which he may be.

Bush recently when asked in a press conference about any mistake he might have made said something to the effect of "I'm sure one will pop into my head." That's the way he and his administration have been running the government. Visionless, inept, and downright sneaky is how I view them.
