So this isn't a work related question but it does concern free time for someone working in the Jakarta area. How many hours does it take to drive to Pelabuhan Ratu from central Jakarta on an early (very early) Saturday morning? How long from Bogor to PR? Is it safe/advisable to make the drive down on a Friday night with an experienced local driver or is it better to go in the morning?

| It takes about 3 hours from Jakarta.... leaving early morning is fine... I wouldn't recommend leaving at night, for the fact that the toll roads will be busy with people heading out of town for the weekend... busier than what they would be early morning :p |
