Hey, ok so from getting rejected from EPIK in Korea my husband and I are looking at teaching elsewhere.
So with Taiwan, how does it work?
1- Do you just arrive in Taiwan to look for a job?
2- What documents do you need?
3- Can you arrive on a one way flight?
4- What are the salaries like?
Thanks! |

I've heard the EPIK application process is a pain in the ass. They will reject people for really odd reasons..
Anyway, to answer your questions:
1) You can, but it is also pretty easy to secure a job online before you arrive. Just check any of the job listings on this site.
2) You need a copy of your university diploma. That is pretty much the only thing you really need unless otherwise stated in the application process.
3) No, you need to show that you will be leaving the country within 60 days. However, within those first 60 days you should receive your ARC visa, so be sure to buy a refundable ticket.
4) Expect to take home NT$50,000 a month your first year. |
