Consider the situation. These students have studied English for probably six years in middle school at least, yet the proficiency level remains basic/intermediate. It indicates the university ranks less than top-tier and the students major in areas other than English. In that case, do not be surprised by class sizes in the 40s. Don't worry. Not all of them will show up. And if a teacher does it right, the boys on the back row will be discouraged from attending at all. How? Drag those boys up to the front. Let them sit there and sulk. They won't come back. Hee! |
