In 2002/3 I was teaching in Qingdao. I wrote several articles to the newspaper 'China Life' -(in my youth I had worked on a newspaper and my dad was also a freelance political satirist) I later discovered that one of the american girls working there changed one or two words and printed the article as her own, she admitted this on her return to America saying she thought I had gone, not realising that I return here.
I had been warned repeatedly by other returnees, not to let the chinese know or give them any details of my lesson/methodology, as they will copy it 'as their own', please be aware that the chinese didn't, an american did! |
